Ashley Mathieu

Ashley Mathieu manages events and office operations for Ohio River South. She oversees bookings and scheduling, guest and client experience, vendor and event staff coordination, and day-of execution — from meetings and receptions at the firm’s downtown Atlanta office to Southern Hospitality, Ohio River South’s annual brunch reception held during the Congressional Black Caucus’ Legislative Conference in Washington D.C.

She came to the firm from small business ownership and operation, running an event space where she handled venue operations, booking and payment platforms, the recruitment and management of event staff, and the coordination of events from planning stages through day-of execution — often several at once. She built that business around customer retention and repeat clientele.

Ashley also spent twelve years in county government, work that built her expertise in operations, people management, and coordination. She holds a bachelor of science in psychology from Kennesaw State University and a master of arts in forensic psychology from Argosy University. She serves on the Kennesaw State University Black Alumni Executive Leadership Board, is a member of the Clark Atlanta University Guild, and served on the host committee for Grady Hospital’s Cross Ties Gala.
