John Odhiambo

John Odhiambo brings an engineer’s approach to the operations of a government affairs firm. He manages the president’s calendar, correspondence, and meeting schedule, and coordinates with clients, prospects, and partners across Ohio River South’s markets.

Much of John’s work supports Ohio River South’s growth. He maintains the firm’s business development pipeline — tracking every pursuit from first contact through close — and keeps the follow-up discipline by scheduling prospect meetings and reviving conversations that have gone quiet.

John came to the firm from software engineering, with several years of experience building APIs, optimizing AWS-based microservices, and developing chatbots. He has contributed to Ohio River South’s artificial intelligence initiatives, helping build the agents that review local government agendas and identify consequential items for clients.

He holds a degree in geospatial information science from Jomo Kenyatta University. Outside the office John is an avid reader, a frequent traveler, and committed to his fitness.
