Howard Franklin wins Reginald Lewis award from AAMA

Howard Franklin was recently honored with the 2025 Reginald F. Lewis Award, from the African American Mayors Association (AAMA) at their conference.

“I am truly humbled to be the recipient of this honor from such an august body of leaders from across this great country,” said Mr. Franklin. “Now, along with my dedication to upholding the ideals this award represents I feel a responsibility to help cultivate the rising generation of awardees.”

Named for the pioneering African American businessman, lawyer, and philanthropist who created the first Black-owned business to surpass $1 billion in revenue, the AAMA Reginald F. Lewis Award recognizes a partner or Business Council member for exceptional support of AAMA.
