Ohio River South was tapped to lead southern political outreach for the largest individual donor to congressional democrats in 2018 midterm elections. Noted environmental activist and founder of Next Gen America Tom Steyer starred in a campaign to engage Americans in the discussion of impeachment, while elevating issues that are top of mind for many voters. Ohio River South produced a ‘Day of Action’ in southern capitals, with activities including local prayer breakfasts, college student and volunteer luncheons, immersive experiences with tours of historically significant communities, and town hall meetings with special guests and thousands of attendees. Our work helped Next Gen America collect millions of email addresses and contribute data that helped flip competitive congressional seats.
