The Climate Equity Action Fund helps organizations educate and mobilize voters of color to elect climate champions and hold them accountable. Active in Florida, Minnesota, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, the Fund hired Ohio River South to conduct an exhaustive analysis of the capacity for change in the peach state, as it considered investing in Georgia. Our entire team pitched in to take stock of opportunities to engage voters of color to elect climate champions; demand clean energy investments from utility companies; and build support for jobs in the clean energy sector. Our work resulted in Georgia becoming a partner state in 2018.
