Tourism contributes more than $60 billion and nearly half a million jobs to Georgia’s economy. Hotels are the backbone of that industry, and they enjoy the robust advocacy by the Georgia Hotel & Lodging Association. Ohio River South leads advocacy on behalf of more than 100 properties located inside the capital city. On their behalf, we fight onerous local legislation, provide connectivity with multiple jurisdictions and build relationships with city leaders, both elected and appointed. We have convened meetings with past two mayors, the Atlanta Police Foundation, Atlanta Beltline, Fulton County Solicitor General, Chair of the Atlanta Board of Education, Chief of Police and virtually every member of Atlanta City Council.
