Kandice Allen Mitchell brings a decade of legal and legislative expertise to Ohio River South. She previously served as Southeast Director of State and Local Policy at Enterprise Community Partners, a national housing nonprofit. There she advocated for more investment and equitable access to quality, affordable homes.
Prior to that, Kandice worked as an attorney on equitable public policy, efficient internal operating procedures, and employment law defense. Her previous employers include the City of Atlanta (Municipal Court), the Atlanta Board of Education and Greenberg Traurig. In every venue, she built lasting relationships and deep expertise.
Kandice earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Tennessee State University. She attended John Marshall Law School, where she was an editor of the law journal, authored legal commentary on legislative proposals and was nominated as an outstanding graduate. Kandice is a commissioner for the Atlanta Commission on Women and a member of the Atlanta chapter of the New Leaders Council.
