Hyun Shin is a government relations and public affairs professional bringing to Ohio River South a successful track record of executing external affairs and policy strategies for Silicon Valley startups, Fortune 500 firms, NGOs, and government. He has a strong background in managing legislative and regulatory issues at the federal, state and local levels.
For the past several years, Hyun has worked at the forefront of technology policy and managed public affairs at iconic Silicon Valley firms – Lyft and Applied Intuition. In addition, he served as Vice President of Technology Policy at Edelman, advising global brands on complex business and policy issues. He also managed federal advocacy efforts for numerous environmental initiatives at The Pew Charitable Trusts in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, Hyun helped lead successful political campaigns in Massachusetts and California.
Hyun holds a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School, a Master in Business Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii. He is an active member of the Technology Association of Georgia.
